The company is headed by Dr. Kay Wilhelm Rump (R4), Welf Boback and Hubertus Wilhelm Rump (R5).
R4 joined the company in 1968 following his studies in Germany , the UK and the USA and after obtaining his PhD in economics. Welf Boback gained his professional qualification in the shipping trade, and joined the Wilhelm Rump Company in 1973.
The latest member of the management, who is anxious to lead the company with ambition through the next decades, obtained his "Master of Business Administration" in the USA and the "Diplom-Kaufmann" in Germany.

The company concentrates primarily on technical products and services for shipyards and ship owners but we also provide clients with various other products for the maritime industry.
Providing our customers with specific products and services in the demanded quality at rock-bottom prices within the required time frame is the daily objective the entire Wilhelm Rump KG-Team strives for.
In order to exceed the expectations of our customers we act as a team in the market. Our team consists of specialist segments; each segment is well qualified to advise customers on a high standard. Where even more specialised technical know-how is needed, we can arrange for advisory services to be provided by experts from the manufacturer's works.
Our Vision, to become the main contact person for our customers is based upon the conviction that we can deepen the trust of our customers while we further enlarge the scope of our services in the years to come.

We also participate in the work of a Quality Management group of the German Ship Suppliers Association to develop quality concepts for our trade complying with EN ISO 9001:2000 standards.
